The enameling is a dipping process and as a result, slight specks, dots, bulges, or potholes are acceptable which adds to the rustic nature of the cup.
Though this cup is smaller than a standard 11oz ceramic mug, it holds the same volume of liquid if filled completely. It is recommended to only fill with 10 fluid ounces.
